Alphabet is Done!
I finished the alphabet for Souvenirs de brodeuse:

I stitched the letter "M" with a lighter color thread
...
I may use the lighter thread for a few accents in the lady and the girl.

Fly Away Home
Ladybug, Ladybug, fly away home....

I made a big mistake on this one....I used a scrap piece of fabric I had....and did not calculate right for the amount I needed....so....a little adjustment was made on the design. ;}
I was looking for some thread in my Little House Needleworks kits, and came across this one. It only needed the bottom border and the ladybug on the leaves to be finished.

Swans and frogs and border...
I just have one more little bee to stitch over one for the hardanger heart band to be finished on my WSG. I put a piece of fabric behind so that the hardanger and hemstitching would show a little better.
(the little scissor charm does hang straight, I just did not see that it was crooked before I took the picture.)
and a little more border (on the sides and the bottom leaf border) on My Needles Work. This one is getting very close to being finished. I just have that border to finish and fill in her apron.

It's Friday!!
....and here's a little more of what I have worked on this week:
Little House Needleworks, My Needle's Work
Victoria Sampler's Where Stitchers Gather
(I am going to change the color of those little "floating" satin stitch blocks to the same color thread as the heart, which matches my fabric a little better)

Forgot my bunnies!!
Here's what I have done on the top for my Sampler Garden Casket. I sequenced stitched the bunnies. Takes a bit more time, but now they look identical!

Souvenirs - a little more
I worked on this one for quite a while last night. I am enjoying using just the one color thread for a change.

Souvenirs de brodeuse
I have loved this design since I first saw it. I started this as soon as I got the chart. Somehow or another, it got put on the back burner. I brought it back out again last night and worked on it for a bit. Using one color thread is a nice change of pace from all the colors of my Chatelaines.
Here's an overall picture:
and a little close up:
(Please excuse the hoop marks - I did not press it before taking the picture.)

Apology and Accolades
I have a very dear friend who has made me incredible gifts. During a time when I needed a "pick me up", she made me yet another beautiful gift. At the time I received it, I did take pictures (I found them), but neglected to post them here for everyone to enjoy. This is a stitcher's portfolio. It was made by Isabelle with bright, cheery colors to make me happy during a trying time. No excuses...my fault for not showing this wonderful gift. This portfolio can hold your chart (it has a magnet under the top bar, so it doesn't slip), your threads (in the side pocket, as well as a small WIP. It folds like a small portfolio so that you can easily carry it. In addition, to making the portfolio herself, she also sent me a heart chart, some beautiful green fabric, some overdyed threads and some lace, which is gorgeous. Take a peek at my gift:
and another view of the inside pocket:

Beautiful gifts from a sincere and wondrous friend across the miles. Thank you so much, Isabelle, for everything. I sincerely apologize for not sharing your generosity sooner.

Pretty, pretty
I got this in the mail yesterday and could not resist starting it. This is the first band on Victoria Sampler's "Where Stitchers Gather"(WSG) needlework pocket. I decided to use 32 count Pear from Lakeside Linen, with only one strand of silk floss.
Here's my finished corner on the Celtic maze (that I made myself finish before starting WSG)

Progress?
It just doesn't seem like I am making much headway on some of my projects. Here's one:
(Little House Needlworks)
And my Celtic Mystery. This Part 3 is just BIG!! I don't know if I will be able to keep up with this mystery for the year, if I cannot force myself to work on this part. There is a LOT of stitching....anyway, here's what little progress I have made on it...
Thanks all for taking a peek and for your comments! I really do appreciate them.:)

Ornamentified
Ta Da!! Here's my tryout for Christmas Mystery 3, all done up as an ornament. I used some Artic Rays thread I had on had and twisted it with the floss to make the cording. It really sparkles;)
Ribbit, ribbit...
here's my version of the Poison Dart Tree Frog for the Rain Forest Quilt by Chatelaine. This is another one where I have purchased nothing, so far. Taking all the threads and colors I need from what I already have.
I just placed a few fabrics next to it, to get a few ideas about what I would like to do for colors.
Something finished - sort of...

Provence Garden - Fabric and Floss Toss
Here's the Mercendes fabric from Picture This Plus with the threads and a few of the beads I have so far...
and
I still need quite a few NPI's (which I will substitute with DMC), one or two SNC's, Waterlily, and some braids.
