Kelly WIP

Now you can tell that this is the letter "K" fairy from Nora Corbett....no fairy yet, but the letter is there!

And...take a look at this absolutely gorgeous fabric I purchased. It is McKenna Ryan's fabric. I bought it with the intention of possibly using it for the quilt I (eventually) intend to make out of all my letter fairies. This fabric has variations from light to dark. For now, I just folded it around the WIP to get an idea of how it might work with the quilt. What do you think? Me, I like it, I like it! :))

  1. That fabric looks absolutely great with that letter. Should look just as great with the other letters too. Are you planning to use one ore several fabrics for the quilt? Personally I think that fabric would be great for between the letters
Ohh....and Kelly is already great :)

  3. Gabi, to be honest, I don't have a plan yet. In fact, I do have several more of those yummy fabrics on their way! Of course, I still have quite a few letters to go before it's ready to be made into a quilt, too! So lots of time to think and plan. :*)

  7. The fabric looks wonderful with the Letter. It reminds me of pixie dust and fairies (as it should with this piece!).
