I did let the threads of the fabric fray a bit on purpose on the branches, to help give it a little more "creepy" look. This is a fun quilt by P3 Designs. It is done in the same fashion as a regular Baltimore Album quilt, but with a Halloween theme. Lots of witches hats, black cats and spiders!
I still have to go over this one and trim up any loose threads, as well as erase some of my pencil markings, then a final pressing.
Thanks everyone for coming by. I love reading all the great comments from each of you!
I love this block! And the expression on the owls face - almost like he's cocking his eyebrow at us!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a hoot!
ReplyDeleteYeah I had to say that! (It's really cute too!)
Amazing how many different projects you are working on.
ReplyDeleteThis one is lovely! The expression on the owls face is great.
Cute owl!
ReplyDeleteI swear we are thisclose to having the exact same taste.
ReplyDeleteI'm working on the Hats & Cats block right now. Ok, I'm *supposed* to be working on it.
Where are you getting your BOM from? I bought mine 2 years ago from Amidon Quiltworks.
That's too funny, isn't it, Missy Ann? :)
ReplyDeleteI am getting my blocks from Honeybee Fabrics. You must already have all your blocks. I have four so far....that fruit basket is #2...but I was bad....skipped it last night and went straight to Block #3 with the bats and spiders! Block #4 is the cat heads and witches hats.
I love your little owl Michele : so cute!!
ReplyDeleteThat's lovely Michele. Of course I had to look at Honeybee Fabrics. That's way to tempting....lol
