Almost there...

April is just around the corner, as well as my wedding anniversary...April lst.  Yep, yep, I know.  How could you?  Well, let's put it this way, my husband has never forgotten the date!  Ha, Ha!

Here is Little Bo Sheep dressed in her raincoat for all those April showers that will be coming our way.

Beautiful weather here today...can't believe there was snow here a little while ago.

 

Happy Valentine's Day!!

A few days early, but hope everyone has a 'sweet' Valentine's Day!  Here's a peak at a small portion of what I am doing now.  This will go with the cupcakes and kisses, as well as a few other 'surprises!'

Look!  It's Little Bo Sheep with her funny hearts headband.

Add a few pinwheel blocks, a scalloped border and some hearts in bright colors...what do you get?  Cute, right?

Heck of a start....

for the new year, that is!  Wow!! 24 inches of snow.  Crazy few days here lately with all the snow fall, the shoveling out, and a bit of thawing yesterday.  Take a peek at the icicles that formed during the day when the snow was melting off our roof.

Lots of drifts, too.  The snow plows only came through making  a single lane patch down our road.  At least we are better off than some, who are still trying to get off their streets!

Anyway...although a bit late for this month, here are the final two blocks for Little Bo Sheep's year.
May finds her celebrating this beautiful month with a floral wreath she decided to wear around her neck.  She has a few dimensional flowers at her feet, which her buzzy little friend is getting ready to check out!   June, the final month...finds her getting her feet a little wet!  She is enjoying those hot, summery days with a little dip in her wading pool, equipped with her inner tube and diving mask!

Little Bo Sheep

Here is the next free pattern for Little Bo Sheep for April on Craftsy.  Bo is dressed as a lion.  I know, I know...it really is more applicable for the month of March.  She just turned out too cute to not use this one.  Look at that face!

Twelve Baa's of Christmas!

A little preview of something new...The Twelve Baas of Christmas.  ;)   

 On the first 'baa' of Christmas,Little Bo Sheep gave to me, one Christmas tree! These will be individual little 'banner's ' strung on a ribbon. Full pictures of this first one coming soon!

As promised...

Here she is!  Little Bo Sheep's January block.  She is ready to celebrate the arrival of the new year.  This block differs a bit from my drawn pattern.  I decided to add the year to the background instead of her hat.  She also has a 'tassel' on her hat instead of the drawn pom-pom.  Here is a close-up of her hat.

Thanksgiving and Christmas

Now, I'm not trying to rush the holiday season.  Really...but I have two more free blocks for my Little Bo Sheep ready at Craftsy.  Little Bo's ready for Thanksgiving with her Pilgrim hat and collar.  Check it out here. 

 

 December is right around the corner.  Little Bo is all decked out in a holiday wreath with some holly and pretty sequins.  That one is available here.

Those two months certainly don't have a lot in common....other than...Little Bo Sheep!  I have listed the months of August and October on Craftsy for FREE for approximately one month (October 15th).

September

I know...I know...it's not September yet.   But...only two short weeks away.  I thought I would show my new block for Little Bo Sheep with it's September theme.

Those autumn leaves are just beginning to fall.  Bo is ready to enjoy all those delicious apples!  Yum!

July!

How can it be?  July, already??   A half of a year gone by?  Zoom.......I thought I would have a few more projects completed by now.  I've already seen some things about Halloween!

Anyway, I did finish the July Snow Happy Heart.  Another cutie from Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill Designs.

And, yet another new idea....monthly blocks highlighting my Little Bo Sheep.  These will be able to be used as individual blocks for different uses, or as an overall full-size quilt.   Rather than start at the beginning of the year, here she is for July, being so very patriotic with her 'liberty' hat and flag.

April

Can you believe it?  Considering the weather the past few weeks, it is a bit difficult to realize that it really is April! But...things are improving!  We had wonderful weather yesterday for Easter. :)

Look who helped to celebrate with her chocolate bunny!  Little Bo Sheep is ready for those April showers with her brand, new raincoat.  And look...a few little raindrops have splashed onto the front.

 
 

 I finished my Snow Happy Hearts for March and April.  Actually March was finished last month; I forgot to post the pictures. Ooops!  Some one else who is ready for those April showers

I have the center of the quilt all prepared for the remaining snowmen.  There will be a lot less work to do for those months. Only a few borders to add at the end.
