My very first WIP for Mirabilia Designs Tree of Hope. I like the tree in this design quite a bit, as well as the two girls along side it. The little extra flowers on either side, not so much. If I get to that point, I may just leave those off. I know, I know....yet another new WIP....I just could not help myself....I have had the pattern for a week and could not leave it alone any longer.
Stitched on 32 count Flax linen with the recommended threads and beads.
Are you singing it??? Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer, had a very shiny nose, and if you ever saw it...(which you can see here)....you would even say it glows. (I ran out of DMC 839, so there are just a few little stitches missing until I get another skein.)
Yep, the last one....all nine reindeer are done! Woohoo! Now Santa is another story....
The sleigh and the reindeer are ready....now what to do with them, what to do? I was planning on combining everyone into one quilt....Just have to figure out how I want that quilt to look first!
At least Rudolph is ready to lead the sleigh for this Christmas in all his sparkling splendor.
This one just seemed to take forever! It has plenty of bling, that's for sure!

More red and then some....
For a "white" Santa, there is really very little white at this point (except for his beard). When I decided to stitch Santa along with all my reindeer, I really did not take into account how big he actually is! The saying "eight tiny reindeer" will be quite appropriate by the time he is finished. :)
Some more of those red ribbons...you can just barely make out the tiny top of the tree...you can sort of see the beginning of the outline shape of the tree within his ribbon.

American Idol, that is! I finished Santa's bag while watching the two hour show. Since I really listened more than watched, I managed to get quite a bit done last night.:)
You guessed it....more Santa! I finished filling in the large portion of Santa's beard. What is it about working with white? You really have to watch how your stitches lay, since it seems that every little fault shows with the white thread. He still has some beard, but that is below his sleeve. I didn't realize how long and flowing it was! I also started on his second sleeve. This picture shows the beginning of a checkered area....one of my favorite parts of this design.
A little beard, another mitten and some of his bag....he's coming along slowly, but I am still happy with working on him at this point. :))
...and for Gabi...on the Little House Needleworks Traveling Stitcher bag...the instructions for the finishing are not very good at all. It basically says to attach a piece of iron on interfacing and turn under the edges. I have attached mine, but am not very happy with it, right now. I am thinking of adding some twisted cord around the perimeter to make it appear "neater."
That's me....shaking my finger at myself. What is it about new stash? A large box arrived yesterday afternoon with a (ahem...) few of the things I ordered from the Nashville Market. I have no willpower. I had to start one of the new projects....hence...the tsk..tsk..tsk. I know I really should behave and work on one of my (many) WIP's....but the new chart...the new floss...the pristene fabric all kept calling me. Of course, I gave in....here's my beginning of Mirabilia Designs Winter White Santa:
I am sooo enjoying working on this one, so far. I cannot wait until I can start his face!
Oh, and BTW, this is from the top of the design down...you can see a little of his crook, and to the right - the tail end of his hat.
I stitched on her for a little while last night. I finished her arms (no backstitching, yet) and some of the beginning of her dress below her arms. 
I did try and work on Oriental Harem Garden for a while, but those darn little frogs kept trying to come in through my new portal! ;)
A little bit of an update on Athena....(that white is tough going on the dark fabric):

..with my stitching, that is. So, I worked on Lady of the Flag for a while....the bottom of her skirt, a few leaves and a bit of blue.
Then a little on Victorian Christmas Eve...some of the white on her cloak, more greenery and a small start on the ruffle of her dress.
I worked on E (Eleanor), too...but I have to retake the pictures. I added the little fairy and a bit more of the actual letter itself. OK , I am having a really difficult time getting the lighter colors to show very well...
The middle portion of her dress is finished...lots of cream thread on cream fabric...not much fun to stitch, but once those beads were added....pretty, pretty! There is still a border on the bottom of her dress that needs to be stitched....I really, really want to stitch some other colors besides the golds....;)
The colors shown in this picture are much more accurate than the last couple of photos.
I worked on my LOTF for a little while yesterday...then my two little fairies started calling me..so little bits of updates on my Trick or Treat Fairy...
and a tiny bit more on my small start on "E" for Eleanor:

...no...it's not "laughing on the floor"....:) Lady of the Flag. Well, I worked on her for a good while yesterday....here's the overall shot:
and the part that shows the area I was working on a little better. It is the area to the left of the flagpole...the center bottom fold of her dress. 
After going through my Mirabilia WIP's, I found this Lady, who has been "sleeping" for so long....Even after all this time, I still like her. Her dress is almost done. I do need to stitch the bottom banner, as well as the flag. However, I left those until the end, thinking those portions would stitch up a lot faster than the dress. LOL! How right I was...the dress still is not done. 
So what do you think...work on her, or not? :)

I have been searching through my stash to find this one...I knew it was there...just could not put my hands on it until today. This is where I left off....ummm...quite a while ago.:) Now that I have found her again, she may be coming out for some air!

I have recently been reading the Mirabilia Stitchers Board on YUKU...http://mirabiliastitchers.yuku.com, definitely a major distraction! So many beautiful WIP's and finished Mirabilias. So, it made me want to check out my WIP's that have been hidden away (it seems like forever). Ivy was one of them. I worked on her for a little bit last night, after I did a large portion of Cassandra. I had worked out a conversion from DMC threads to Crescent Colours for Ivy. Anyway, here's my little WIP:
