I can hear it now....

"Well, it is about time!!"  (right, Anne Marieke?)  Here is my picture of my completed Snowbound quilt top.  (Design by Bunny Hill Designs).  I always have such a difficult time trying to get a picture of an entire quilt top.  Now if there was someone here when I am trying to take the pictures, I could get a little help.  Seems like I am always trying to take the pictures when no one is around!  I am just thankful it is not a queen or king size!

Last Block

Here she is!! A cute little snow angel all dressed up and ready to go...I am thinking maybe she has her purse 'cause she is getting ready to do a little Christmas shopping! ;)

I am going to miss receiving my little snowbuddies each month from Anne at Bunny Hill Designs.  But, hold on...Anne says she has something in the works for another freebie Block of the Month next year.

I almost forgot to post a picture of this one, since she has been finished since November. It was just by chance that I saw a little blurb  from Anne on the Snowbound Flickr group that we could request the December block early. Anne had asked that anyone who finished wait until the last block was released.

Block 11

Here it is Block #11 for my Snowbound quilt.  The past eleven months have passed so quickly.  It is difficult to believe that there is only one more block for this so, so cute design. :)

Snowbound

Block #10!  Wow!  We are almost finished with this one.   Surprisingly, I have kept up with the new block release each month.  Here's mine with one of my favoritie things, too!  A cute, wooly sheep.

Block #8

Here he is!  My little snowguy for Block #8 for the Snowbound Block of the Month by Bunny Hill Designs.  Too cute with his little red wagon.  I added something a little different, just an experiement really to see if I liked it or not....he has popcorn trim on his scarf.  Something new instead of the fringe I occasionally add.

No pictures, but...

It's time to "crow!"  My Mckenna Ryan "All "Cooped Up" quilt top is done!  Cock-a-doodle-doo!!  Pictures tomorrow...it will be making a little trip with me tomorrow, then it really needs to be nicely pressed.

And...my Snowbound snowmen are together...those that are done anyway.  Three complete rows of those cuties....(they will be going with the roosters tomorrow, too!)

All updates tomorrow!

T H R E E !!!

That's right - three - count 'em....three finishes in one day!  There were just a few small things left to do on each of these projects. But....isn't it fun when all of a sudden - wow - three actual finishes!  Number one - my Four Calling Birds from Nora Corbett's Twelve Days of Christmas.

And two....who is that looking at those delicious...ahem....delightful birdies?  It is my version of Bunny Hill's new pattern Scooter Pie.

Now three ~  Block #6 for my Snowbound quilt.

Rolling!

Rolling along, that is!  I got inspired for some reason to continue to work on my Snowbound quilt.  I joined the first two rows of snowmen with their Irish Chain blocks, and Voila!

Now the outer red border is attached on three sides already.  You just can't tell because of the new slipcover I recently bought for my sofa.  I laid the completed rows out on the back of the sofa.  The red border matches the color of the sofa!  There will be another wider blue border that I will attach later, after we receive some applique portions for that one.

Snowbound

...and Block #5.  This one really went together fast.
A cute little crown for the snow princess!  I love the heart button wand (thanks, Isabelle!) that has been waiting in my stash for just the perfect place. :)

Now I have just enough snowmen blocks to complete two whole rows along with the Irish Chain blocks on the quilt....hmmmm....should I do it....or wait?

#3

It's Block #3 of Bunny Hill's freebie Snowbound quilt series:

A fun little block.  I used a white Artic Rays thread I had for the outline of the stars....shiny and wispy.  Some red wool felt for his earmuffs and I changed the word to script instead of a printed format.

An update on my Castles, possibly tomorrow.  The second peacock is finished.  Now I am getting into Part 5!

February

Ta Da!!!  Here is my February block for Snowbound:

With all the snow we have had here, maybe that is what I should be doing, too! ;)

Snow

...and more snow....and more snow.  After receiving about two feet of snow the other day, today there is another storm with more snow falling...high winds expected later (hopefully - no power will be lost - crossing fingers now!)...

It only seemed appropriate to work on my second block for the Bunny Hill Snowbound (ha, ha) quilt.   Still working on that one.  But I did also work on the Irish chain blocks that will be between each snowman block.  I still have two more "rows" around the block to complete on thirteen of these squares...but here's a peek at them, so far:

I did scatter them about a bit...but you can see the cream colored polka dot in this photo as well as the cute red and cream print I am using. (Please excuse the threads on the squares...they will be trimmed after the final two borders are attached.)

Reds

New red fabrics and lots of pretty reds and salmon colors used in Le Jardin's Block #2:

Here are the new red and cream fabrics I purchased for my Snowbound Irish Chain blocks:  I strip pieced the little nine-patch squares:.s  You might think that these reds do not go with the blue background fabric for my snowman.  The design shows a blue background for all the snowmen with a red Irish Chain having cream colored backgrounds.  When I placed my Block #1 with the fabrics, it looked fine.  The reds in the block pick up the Irish Chain red.

Sprinkles

Yep, sprinkles....I put little pink and white sprinkles on my chocolate cupcake! My first block is done for Snowbound.
