A Bridge and a Few Swans

Let's start with the swans.  I have been working on Curtis Boehringer's 12 Days of Christmas designs, off and on, for a while.  I decided to stitch with wool felt on a cotton background.  Here is Seven Swans a Swimming.  (That's a lot of necks!)

Seven Swans a Swimming

I have also finished Block 3, Packhorse Bridge, from The Raspberry Rabbits.  Lots of specialty stitches added to this one.  The sparkly threads for the water are one of my favorite parts.

Sunflower Caravan

Finally!!  I feel as though I have been stitching on Block 3 of Briarside Lane by The Raspberry Rabbits F O R E V E R!!  It is a fun, gypsy-type caravan with lots of decorations.  Take a look:

I was unable to make the wheels as shown on the chart, so I came up with something else!

A few things

I joined the Fellowship of Flowers with the Raspberry Rabbits.  One wool felt flower each week for a year.  52 flowers!!  It will be fun to see what we do with all these flowers.  The one above is my version of the latest one, a daisy.

And here we have another freebie BOM from P3 Designs.  Gotta love those free ones!  This is my version of the first block, the Hollyhock.  Only a few more days until the next one!
These are the first two flowers for The Fellowship of Flowers.

So many projects going on behind the scenes, I can barely decide which one to work on each day. ;0

The Raspberry Rabbits

The latest block for The Adventures of Harrington and Hannah is available from The Raspberry Rabbits.  A fun block with bumblebees and a beehive.  I did make a few changes for mine.  I used wool felt for the flowers, leaves and bees.

I also made the Penny Pitcher door pocket from Michelle May at the Raspberry Rabbits.  She is offering this pattern for free.

Bunnies

The Adventures of Harrington and Hannah (May)
Not Annabelle, I know.  This is the May block for The Raspberry Rabbits free BOM, The Adventures of Harrington and Hannah.  I did change mine a bit this month.  Instead of embroidery for the flowers, I made them out of wool felt with a French knot for the centers.

Off to see what Annabelle is doing today!

Picture Day!

Lots of pictures today!  First, a few small cross stitch pieces.  This is The Cross-Eyed Cricket's Sophie's Mitten.
Here are two of Shepherd's Bush small Halloween designs.  Each one had a little sheep; how could I resist?

We are already on Block 4 of The Adventures of Harrington and Hannah (a free BOM) by The Raspberry Rabbits.  This is another very nice block for April:

Next, two blocks from my Blessings of Summer BOM from Shabby Fabrics, Block 7 and 8:
I love this little red wagon.
More sunflowers!\

And, last but definitely not least, Block 5 of Berries and Bluebirds by Gail Pan.
Whew!  Luckily, I was able to upload my pictures today with no problem.  What's next?  Esther Aliu's next flower block for her free BOM....the Great Pumpkin (I am a month behind on that one), Merry, Merry Snowmen and another one for Raining Cats and Dogs....all still waiting, and each one calling louder than the last!

Block 2 Harrington and Hannah

Another cute one from The Raspberry Rabbits free Block of the Month.  Lots of cute little hearts with Harrington and Hannah:

My flower pot looks blue in this picture, but it actually has a deep lavender color.

Here are the two blocks together:
(The stray thread gremlins are at it again..by the top heart.....sorry...)

A new free BOM!

Harrington and Hannah

I love these bunnies!  Once I saw the first block, I had to start (you know how that goes!).
Just finished the last bit of stitching on my January block:

This free BOM is being offered by Michelle May of The Raspberry Rabbits.  Each new block will be released on the 15th of the month.  I can't wait until February!

** For Ineke:  Looks like a green quilt is going to be on the way.  I actually did not plan it , but this combination of fabrics seemed to fall into place. :)  **
