Picture Day!

Lots of pictures today!  First, a few small cross stitch pieces.  This is The Cross-Eyed Cricket's Sophie's Mitten.
Here are two of Shepherd's Bush small Halloween designs.  Each one had a little sheep; how could I resist?

We are already on Block 4 of The Adventures of Harrington and Hannah (a free BOM) by The Raspberry Rabbits.  This is another very nice block for April:

Next, two blocks from my Blessings of Summer BOM from Shabby Fabrics, Block 7 and 8:
I love this little red wagon.
More sunflowers!\

And, last but definitely not least, Block 5 of Berries and Bluebirds by Gail Pan.
Whew!  Luckily, I was able to upload my pictures today with no problem.  What's next?  Esther Aliu's next flower block for her free BOM....the Great Pumpkin (I am a month behind on that one), Merry, Merry Snowmen and another one for Raining Cats and Dogs....all still waiting, and each one calling louder than the last!

Holly and Ivy

Oh, my! I received my package with my market purchases the other day. I knew I would not be able to wait to start something new.:) This new kit from Shepherds Bush, Holly and Ivy, has been keeping me a little busy.

Then the quilting bug bit me again. I spent all day yesterday working on the tracing, cutting and fusing of some of the blocks of my A Tisket, A Tasket quilt by Bunny Hill Designs. No picture just yet as things are just fused, but each block still needs all the little pieces to be attached permanently. There is also quite a bit of embellishment to add - usually a bit of hand embroidery, buttons and ribbons.

Ooops! I forgot!

I picked up my little Queen Sheep picture that was framed by The Stitching Post the other day. Isabelle reminded me that I forgot to post a picture!

She's just too cute! Now to decide where she should hang!

La de da!

No....no....not the designer! ;) Another Shepherds Bush finish!! Hard to believe...no finishes for so long...and now all these little ones right in a row! I finished up the specialty stitches this morning for Quaker Heart. I have been in a "Shepherds Bush" mood lately. I do have a few more smaller kits...but I think my Vintage Christmas quilt, block #1 is calling me!

More Shepherds Bush

THANKS A LOT

This was a small kit I just purchased a short time ago when Finch Song was released. It does have some words that are to be stitched, which I decided to leave off this time. I may add another Quaker-type motif in the empty area on the bottom right.

Have you noticed that the little "pudgies" from Shepherds Bush are "losing weight?" They are definitely getting much slimmer in the later releases. They are still "pudgy", just not as much. ;)

A sheep and the other half

I finished my little sheep from Shepherds Bush, "Home". But when I went to attach the little hat button....my button did not have any holes drilled into it. I guess I could try to do it myself, but knowing me....I am sure the button will be destroyed. I'll try and give Shepherds Bush Shop a call later today and see if I can get a replacement.

And the other half? I finished by second Blackbird stocking. :) Very "Halloweeny" with the rusts and black.

Thanks to all of you who continue to stop by and visit. I love reading your comments and following all the links to your blogs.

Not one, but two!!

WooHoo!! Two finishes! I haven't finished any of my many (ahem) WIP's in a while, so to have two at once is great! :)

The first, of course, is Sail Away by Shepherds Bush.

Second....Queen Sheep. Now she is a funny little lamb....stripes like a bumblee, but with a very ornate crown indeed. Check her out....she even has a stinger!

I've been sailing

....sort of...."sailing along" on my WIP from Shepherds Bush, that is. ;)

I have been working on my Sail Away piece from Shepherds Bush. Not too much more to do. Finish up the rest of the over one letters and complete the open areas in the two hills. Oh, and my initials and date in the quaker circle.

Just for Heidi

I thought it might be easier for you to see things here. This is a picture of the Cherish bracelet from Shepherds Bush.

Number 1....Sarah Tobias Pincushion:

Number 2....Shepherds Bush, Honey Shop:

...and Number 3...Mary Beale's Medieval Angel Ornament:
Medieval Angel Ornament(a)

The Sarah Tobias pincushion was pretty quick. The other two were pieces I had started some time ago, and just never completed the stitching. Yesterday I was looking through my stash for a quick finish fix, and found these two.

Over one, anyone?

When the mood strikes, you have to go with it....when it is about stitching over one, anyway. I don't often "feel" like doing all the over one in the projects I have, and will skip over them and come back. So, the mood struck yesterday!:))

I worked on the mermaids, the lighthouse and the ship's flags on With My Needle's, Maidens of the Sea. Ship and Mermaids

Then...I finished a row of lettering on Happy Haunting by Shepherds Bush, as well as starting a new row!

Love those brooms on this one;}

My Garden

Here's a little design from Shepherd's Bush. It came with the hand-painted mat. And the best part is, I got this one for half price!
My Garden

It's not framed just yet. I put the mat over the piece to see what it would look like.

Done, done and done!!

Finally!! The Christmas stitching I was working on is finished! But, since it is a Christmas present, no picture:( I still have to do the finishing on this one, too. I am hoping that it will be done quickly!! Yeah!!!!

And just for fun...here's a picture of a cupboard from the Shepherd's Bush store in Utah that I noticed when browsing through their on-line tour.

I just think this is so nice! I love the beehive!

Happy Haunting

Pulled this one out for a little while last night. Shepherds Bush has always been one of my favorites since I started stitching. It's hard to believe that they have been designing for as long as I have been stitching!;))

Here's my WIP...Happy Haunting

Two Finishes

The first: French HeartShepherds Bush, French Heart. This one is not very large, but it just seemed to take me f o r e v e r to finally get it done!

...and the second...AMAPa design by A Mon Ami Pierre (AMAP) Designs. Now it's just a matter of deciding what to do with them!

Unexpected Finish

Well, while looking through the new issue of Just Cross Stitch's Ornament issue for this year, I decided to do the one for Shepherd's Bush, Sweet Baby. Don't ask me why; I haven't done any of the others in this series (yet). It was simple enough (lot of color changes, however) and, I guess, satisfied my need for a quick finish. Here it is, done on Flax linen with none of the recommended colors~LOL! I used all Crescent Colors instead! Sweet Baby

Bats, Hats and Silly Sheep

Happy Haunting WIPThat's what this is, so far. Here's Shepherd's Bush Happy Haunting. It came in the mail today, and without any hesitation, I started it. So this one counts as my second new start. No more new ones until I reach another total of five finishes.

This one is just too cute, but then I say that about each new Shepherd's Bush:))

Here's my Shepherd's Bush Glory fob with my Glory scissors. I have had this stitched, but just did Glory Fobthe finishing today. Cute! The rick rack with beads is a different way of finishing. Something new!

Be A Witch

Be A Witch

Here's my Shepherds Bush "Be A Witch" finally with the finishing done. I added some candy corn, a bat and a ghost button onto the ribbons hanging down the sides.
