Last section
Only a couple of motifs to go for this one to be finished. Here's the left side of the bottom portion:
I also worked on my Papillon "How Does Your Garden Grow" mystery yesterday. I am almost done with Part 3. Just a few more specialty stitches and it will be onto Part 4.

Souvenirs de brodeuse
The lady is done! I finished her last night, started the little girl, and a little bit of the scissors (which are stitched one over one).

Souvenirs - The Lady
Here she is, just about halfway done. I changed her arm a bit (the one on her lap). The chart had her arm just hanging down with a hand that looked like a hook (well, at least to me, it did). The arm seemed out of proportion to me, too. I am much happier with this one.

Alphabet is Done!
I finished the alphabet for Souvenirs de brodeuse:
I stitched the letter "M" with a lighter color thread...
I may use the lighter thread for a few accents in the lady and the girl.

Victoria Sampler and AMAP
I stitched just a bit more...the first line of the alphabet and the zigzag line below it. I really like the simplicity of working with the one color on this one.
The flower band is finished....getting ready for the hemstitching and hardanger!....and yes the year is supposed to be upside down. When the pocket is folded, it will be right side up.;)

Souvenirs - a little more
I worked on this one for quite a while last night. I am enjoying using just the one color thread for a change.

Souvenirs de brodeuse
I have loved this design since I first saw it. I started this as soon as I got the chart. Somehow or another, it got put on the back burner. I brought it back out again last night and worked on it for a bit. Using one color thread is a nice change of pace from all the colors of my Chatelaines.
Here's an overall picture:
and a little close up:
(Please excuse the hoop marks - I did not press it before taking the picture.)

Two Finishes
The first: Shepherds Bush, French Heart. This one is not very large, but it just seemed to take me f o r e v e r to finally get it done!
...and the second...a design by A Mon Ami Pierre (AMAP) Designs. Now it's just a matter of deciding what to do with them!
