Freebie

I tried. I really, really tried. Not to start another new project. I held off for two days. Then she kept calling me and calling me. I had to answer....you know how that goes. :)

Mirabilia's 2009 Free Cherub. I don't think she looks like a cherub at all. Pretty, nonetheless.
She is holding a trumpet with a banner hanging below. I am missing a few threads and all the beads. I used Crescent Colours Sassy Brass, since I was missing DMC 869. This is only about half the design.

Buzzin' by

Bumblebee(a)

This little guy has been a UFO f o r e v e r!! All he had been missing was one wing...so finished his wing last night, and all his beads this morning. Pretty sparkly and cute, for a bug, that is! ;) He is stitched on SIlkweaver's Jamaica Sunset Reflections with the recommended fibers and beads.

The design is a freebie from Mirabilia Designs.

Finally....something is finished!

Here's a little freebie from the Cross Eyed Cricket, the s'mores mitten. I did not use the recommended fabric...in hindsight I think I should have backstitched the outine.

and another one!! This is also by the Cross Eyed Cricket Collection...the Second Day of Christmas ornament....

TW Father Christmas Freebie

Father Christmas FreebieThis is a freebie by Teresa Wentzler. I tried several photos, but can't seem to get the white to not be "so" white. There is some whitework in the borders also.

The fabric that is shown is what I used for the back.

Needle Guardian

Here he is:Needle Guardian I changed a few things on him. He is stitched on the new Lilac Wisper fabric. I used a lavender perle cotton instead of the suggested white and changed the beads to a green/blue Magnifica.

(He is number four of my finishes! Only one more to go for a new start...)

PS Freebie

It's a scissor pocke! I saw a picture of a finishing like this one on Becky B's Stitching Hive. I think it turned out cute.:) The design is a Prairie Schooler freebie ~ Birdhouse. I used some Vikki Clayton silks I had to stitch it on 36 count Pearled Barley Lakeside Linen.
