Annabelle's Adventures

Wow!  How can it be February already?!  I guess that means it is time for the last two blocks for Annabelle's Adventures.  But wait, it's not over yet!  The border instructions will be here next month.

Here is a close-up of Block 11.  Annabelle is all dressed up as an Indian for Thanksgiving.

For December (Block 12) Annabelle has her golden wings, shiny halo and, of course her harp.

For a little bunny, Annabelle has certainly had a busy year,  I hope you have enjoyed this adventure along with Annabelle and I.  :)

Be sure to keep a lookout for the borders, for the finishing touch to this fun adventure!

Introducing...

Little Bo Sheep!

She is my new wool felt and cotton fabric doll.  She is about 12", not including the length of her legs  

I have begun making her wool felt accessories for each month.  The picture shows her warm, wool felt scarf and her mittens on a string for January.  Anybody else remember these as "idiot" mittens?  (Pull one and smack yourself in the face with the other one?)

I have a cute, little red vest with a heart for February.  She has been a lot of fun to make, and trying to come up with some fun ideas for her accessories.

Any suggestions for the upcoming months are welcome!

~ 2015 ~

Here we go!  A fresh, new start!  I don't necessarily think about resolutions and such at the beginning of the new year.  I love thinking about all the new projects I can try.  I don't always think about how I am going to get all these new lovelies finished, however! LOL!!  But isn't that the fun of new beginnings, whether it be a new year or a new project?  All that excited anticipation of something 'new.'  :))  I wish all of you an exciting year filled with wonderment and, of course, anticipation! ;)

December already??!!

How can this be...only 24 days until Christmas....Wasn't it just Halloween?? :))




Today brings two new parts for Annabelle's Adventures. Block 7 shows Annabelle and her flag, all dressed up for a parade.

Annabelle is flying her kite in Block 8 with one of the few breezes that came through for August.

Won't be long....

You know how it goes....once Thanksgiving is here....the next thing you know, you turn around and it's Christmas!  So my Christmas spirit showed up a little early this year.  Here are three little ornaments I have made.

 Two (the bunny and mouse) are from last year.  The sheep is new.  What is also new is that I have finally made a pattern for all three.
