Mystery X - Another gate...
Seems like this part is just dragging on and on and on....
I really want those gates finished before the next part comes out on the first. Even if the corners aren't done, I'll be happy if the gates are completed....

"The Moose" and Tuscany
I worked on the outlines for Part 4 for Tuscany last night. I did manage to get the entire black outline done. ....and everything lined up just as it should the first time around (knock on wood)!
Just because he was there while I was trying to get pictures of Tuscany, here's another of my cats, Ranger, also known as "The Moose" (give this name by my husband because of his "great size").

....Frogs....
Yep...came to pay me a visit...well, I should say my Secret Victorian Garden. Have to take out part of a corner - the Midnight posts for one of the gates. I'll probably do that tomorrow, as I just need to put it aside for tonight. I think I'll work on Tuscany for a bit. I may even cheat a bit and work on Part 4 instead of filling in more of those Part 3 motifs. Part 4 is a little more straightforward. In the meantime, here's another of those gates (about halfway done). I did finish this one, so that only leaves me four more to stitch.

Tuscany Town and the Secret Victorian Garden
Sounds like a novel title, doesn't it? Well, here's the latest on these two. I haven't done too much more on the Secret Victorian Garden (Mystery X). Just managed to finish the lower left hand corner. I still have some Jessica stitches to fill in on the inner corner.
This is Tuscany, with one of the motifs filled in, as well as a corner motif with the beads. Now it doesn't look like I have done a lot of stitching. That's because I took out all the lazy daisy stitches and replaced them. Now, they look much better...

Mystery X WIP (again)
Here's another update on my Mystery X. I have backstitched two of the gates. Yeahh!!! Geesh....only six more to go! I also added the scrolls at the top portion for two sides. It really doesn't show too well in the picture. It's much better in person. The original PB 04 (silver) just was not showing up very well at all on the fabric I chose. So I went searching through my ...many....Chatelaines to find one that was more suitable. This one is PB 54. It's still silver, just a bit darker. I don't think that it is supposed to show as a very dark portion. It will probably attach to another part in either Part 11 or 12. Here's a slideshow of all my WIP pictures....

Little bits of progress...
(very little)LOL! But here's what bits I did on Mystery X, Part 10. This is the first corner so far
and this....The half stitches go very quickly. Still have the rest of the gate and another gate for the top portion to do yet.

...and Little House Needleworks freebie, Sweet Berries, also as a hanging..
On Autumn Blessings, I only completed a portion, not the entire band sampler.

...and another update....
Mystery X, that is....This is the lower left hand corner for Part 9 complete. Only one more corner to go! Then I can finally move onto Part 10. Those willow trees are actually beginning to get a bit easier, well, only after doing six of them:))

TW Father Christmas Freebie
This is a freebie by Teresa Wentzler. I tried several photos, but can't seem to get the white to not be "so" white. There is some whitework in the borders also.
The fabric that is shown is what I used for the back.

A Couple of Finishes
This one has been stitched forever. I finally did the actual finishing on it yesterday. This is Little House Needleworks Berries freebie.
And Judy Odell's My Needlebook all done!
Now it will be back to working on my Mystery X for a bit today! I did manage to complete the upper right corner and a portion of the lower left corner....
OK - I can't seem to get the pictures to appear where they are supposed to be, but you get the idea....:)) Oh, and that is Ranger's head peeking in at the corner of the Little House picture..maybe he was afte those little birds!

Mystery X
...well, I didn't work on this one much at all last month. So, now I am about a month and a half worth's of work behind. This project was originally one which I wanted to stay up to date.
Anne Marieke on the Chatelaine Board and I are going to Stitch A Long on this one. She is just a wee bit behind me. I'm sure she'll catch up quickly. A little "competitive stitching" is just what I need to get me moving on this one again. (Thanks, Anne Marieke!:))
After looking at this picture, for some reason, it struck me how much stitching there really is in this piece. It is almost completely solid....

Father Winter
I've been wanting to stitch this one up for a while now after seeing a finished picture on the Teresa Wentzler Bulletin Board.
Came out a little bit crooked~I had to scan it as the batteries on my camera are dying (again). I will probably finish it into an ornament sometime this weekend.:)

Happy Haunting
Pulled this one out for a little while last night. Shepherds Bush has always been one of my favorites since I started stitching. It's hard to believe that they have been designing for as long as I have been stitching!;))
Here's my WIP...

JAT My Needlebook
On many of my recent projects, I have been trying to use different colors of fabric and threads than I would normally use. I tend to gravitate towards purples and greens. Now this one is still green, but an olive green, which would generally not be my first choice. This is Judy Odell's My Needlebook done on Lakeside Linen's Pear fabric with a Threadgatherer silk. I decided to use just one color for mine. Judy's example shows a few more colors.
I still have to stitch the part with my name and year. Once that is done, I should be able to assemble this one pretty quick:))

Yummy!
Look at these luscious fabrics from C Mon Monde. These were just a few of the beautiful colors offered. I was able to get these from Amy at Down Sunshine Lane. I got them in just about a week! Great service. I'm not sure what I'm going to use them for, I just like looking at the unusual colors.:)

Two Finishes
The first: Shepherds Bush, French Heart. This one is not very large, but it just seemed to take me f o r e v e r to finally get it done!
...and the second...a design by A Mon Ami Pierre (AMAP) Designs. Now it's just a matter of deciding what to do with them!

Pieces
Here's a portion of a design that will eventually become a tray. This was designed by Marsye and is called Plateau de Brodeuse. This is the main pocket on the tray. Here are a few more of the pieces, which will eventually become attached to a main ground cloth. and the alphabet, all by itself, which will go on the top portion...

Christmas Workshop
I got my Just Nan Christmas Workshop kit yesterday. Too cute!! Of course, I had to start it right away!!:))This is a picture of the supplies in the kit, as well as my WIP
Only four more triangle outlines to go! Working on that red gingham is going to be a bear! I only did a little, but it was time consuming.
