Buzzz......

dragonfly casket (3)

And this is the first dragonfly on my Chatelaine Dragonfly Boudoir Casket. I decided not to buy the kit for this one. Instead I just pulled various threads that were similar to the original colors. The only exception is the pink. Instead of a pale pink, I decided to go with SNC's Nan's Mulberry. This is just a very little portion of the overall design, where I wanted to see if the colors I chose worked together. I also decided not to stitch it on the suggested Millenium Blue. Although the color does not show that well, it is a pale to medium light blue. So far....I think I like it!:)
I especially like the sparkly dragonfly!

Teeny, Tiny Turtles

Quaker Turtles (scissor fob)

These are the two little designs that will be the scissor fob from With My Needle's Quaker Turtles. These two little circles are actually smaller than a quarter! (I bet the making of these into the turtle is going to be....uh....fun?:)

QTB ~ Inside Back Panel

Inside Back Panel (complete)

All done!!

The Queen's Treasure Box

The Queen's Treasure Box or QTB fron now on....just too pretty. Of course, I had to have this one from market. I spent a good portion of Wednesday just basting all the sections for this one. I did start on the inside back panel (which is really the largest portion). There are just a lot of pieces for this box. I am not a "pink" person ordinarily. I will stay with the pink threads that are used, with the rest mainly purple (my favorite). I don't think I will make the outside box pink. I may just make the outside purple, too.;)

Anyway, here's my start on this one (a little close up):Inside Panel Close-up and the entire panel: Inside Back Panel

I still have quite a few stitches to do for this panel. Some lazy daisies, some Rhodes and some ribbon roses. And, I can't forget those little tassels! :)

"Ozzie"

I'd like you to meet "Ozzie" the owl. This is Cat's Whiskers Design, "What a Hoot." I started this one late Monday night and finished it up this morning. I had originally started it on the required fabric, but really messed it up. So I restarted it on a larger count linen than was required. My needlecase will just be a bit larger than the original design.

...a little more.....

Japanese Garden, that is! Sick of it yet? Normally I cannot stitch on one project for such a long time without wanting to switch to something else. As long as I am enjoying this one, I guess I will continue to work on it! So here's a couple of pictures of my progress:
