I made it back over to the corner where I had originally started this sampler with the Rose of Sharon thread. This is half the width of the entire design. A picture of the central bottom portion with the new little motifs on the sides of the central flower:(A).jpg)
I am really happy with how this one is shaping up!

This looks so good--especially in the colourway you've chosen--that I looked up the contest to join! Too bad that for some reason yahoo won't let me log in!!! It's gotta be about a year since I logged in with them, and either I can't recall my password (not likely) or they hate me, lol.
In any case, I'm glad you restarted and I hope it lets me log in soon! LOVE your project, and thanks for the inspiration. :D
