Oh, my!
I went to Joanne Fabrics this morning for a few odds and ends. While wandering down the aisles with all the Christmas goodies, what do I spot? This guy....
How could I resist a Sewing/Stitching Nutcracker?? Look at all his great accessories...pincushion...scissors...buttons...threads (especially the giant spool of thread for his hat)...the HUGE needle...but it is the use of the thimbles that I love. :)))Normally, I am not a big fan of Nutcrackers...I have two from my mother that are older which I get out each year...but this one was just too fun to resist.

Oh, I love, love him. I'm not a fan of nutcrackers either - for some reason they aways scared me, but I think that I need this one for my sewing room.
I love it - I've seen all kinds of nutcrackers - But never a sewing theme - Wonderful find :)
