** ~ O M G ! ! ~ **

A bit of an introduction first....when I made my first block with Annabelle, I thought, "wouldn't she make a cute little doll?"  After brewing in the back of my mind for a few weeks, I finally sat down and tried to make it happen.  AND...insert big "Squeeee!!" I did it!  I am over the moon with how cute she has turned out to be !  She is a little girl, only 8" tall.  The picture does not show her chubby, little belly or her tail.

Annabelle (Doll)

She is constructed entirely by hand using a blanket stitch.  She is made entirely of wool felt, with a touch of embroidery for her eyes and nose.  Her clothes have been done by machine.

I am sooo in love with this little girl....what more can I say??

If you feel so inclined, please take a minute to answer my poll question at the upper right-hand side of the page.  Thanks!

She is lovely and a beautiful companion for your quilt. Anyone young or old would delight in them both. I'm hoping you add her brother and a few other friends.

Congratulations, I've designed a few teddys and they are not easy to see through to the final product.

I did vote. And a question : Will there be a pattern of the Annabelle wallhanging soon? I would love to make her for my granddaughter.

Annabelle in real life is adorable, I'm looking forward to been able to purchase these delightful blocks soon????. Like Baukye said what a delightful quilt for a grandchild. I have a new one arriving in Jan and a quilt of Annabelle would be so original and perfect. You are very very talented Michele at been able to portray a story in your blocks of Annabelle. Looking forward to seeing new blocks of Annabelle's adventures in the months to come. Cheers Glenda
