Whee!

It's done!  Le Jardin's last block was completed on Sunday.  I added the outer borders after joining all the blocks together yesterday.DONE!

It turned out to be quite large, and yes, I know you have the dimensions to start with, but actually seeing how big it is, is a different story!

Now a new Block of the Month (BOM) will take it's place next month!  Merry Christmas to All:  take a peek.  This one has a ton of embellishments...ribbons, buttons galore, bells, etc.Merry Christmas to All

...and enough

OK...I knew it wouldn't last forever....trying to keep my post titles to one word was a bit more difficult than I thought it might be.  So, without further ado....enough of it.  I am back to making my titles whatever I feel like! :))

A few pictures for today...I have been working on my quilting projects the past several days.  Block 7 of Le Jardin....this is just a portion of it.

I have also been working on the second block of Friends for Christmas...no picture yet...but it is a large penguin putting a star atop a Charlie Brown Christmas tree while standing on a stack of presents.  Cute! It is almost done..picture soon!

And....look here...some of my little scrap pieces left over from my Le Jardin blocks....a little flower, which still needs two more striped hexagons to complete the circle.  It does look a bit odd right now, but the next color will help with the transition from the darker colors to the creams and reds.  I may just keep going around and around with the scraps I have just to see how big it becomes!

Birdhouse

Block #5 of Le Jardin by Bunny Hill Designs is done!  And just in time, too!  I received my notification e-mail that the next blockis on its way! I just have to attach the little bows on each of the dresses,  I am going to wait to do that so that they do not get squished when I fold the block up to put away.  I'll be adding those at the end, when the quilt blocks are all together.

Now I am off to trace and cut the pieces for the next Snowbound block!

Basket

My basket for a portion of Block #4 on Le Jardin.  This block has three sections.  Here's my first part with the basket and flowers.  A little bit of a placement error on my part with the butterfly...he should be resting against the basket...so rather than rip out everything  I had already stitched for him, he got little legs.  :))

Leaves

Leaves, leaves and more leaves.  Twenty-five, to be exact!  Nine stars and one flower pot!  All twenty-five leaves are done on Block #3 for Le Jardin by Bunny Hill Designs.  Whew!

I love the flower pot!  (Maybe 'cause there was only one! LOL!)

Reds

New red fabrics and lots of pretty reds and salmon colors used in Le Jardin's Block #2:

Here are the new red and cream fabrics I purchased for my Snowbound Irish Chain blocks:  I strip pieced the little nine-patch squares:.s  You might think that these reds do not go with the blue background fabric for my snowman.  The design shows a blue background for all the snowmen with a red Irish Chain having cream colored backgrounds.  When I placed my Block #1 with the fabrics, it looked fine.  The reds in the block pick up the Irish Chain red.

Le Jardin

Bunny Hill's newest design - "Le Jardin", with very pretty fabrics from the French General line. This is the first block. Another Block of the Month (BOM). Hopefully, I will be able to keep up with this one. ;) The little bunny gets an embroidered ribbon around his neck, which also flows out into the background.

I hope everyone had a very nice Christmas and received some nice "stitchy" gifts from Santa.
