Yesterday

...a dreary, rainy day.  But..perfect to stay in and stitch (which is what I did).  I worked on Parts 2 and 3 of my Peacock Garden Mandala.  Almost all caught up...just a few more little flower buds in the last three corners.  (I also saw that Martina has posted the password for the next part...but no file
as of yet).  :)

A little close-up.  There are still a lot of beads to be attached for all three parts that have been released.

Bunnies

The second part of my Block #4 for Le Jardin.....two little red bunnies.:))

A little close-up of one.  Now to work on the bird with the flower, leaves and stem.

Basket

My basket for a portion of Block #4 on Le Jardin.  This block has three sections.  Here's my first part with the basket and flowers.  A little bit of a placement error on my part with the butterfly...he should be resting against the basket...so rather than rip out everything  I had already stitched for him, he got little legs.  :))

Patches

There are 10 nine patch blocks on All Cooped Up.  After cutting and organizing all the fabrics yesterday, I completed one of them.  For the little houses or coops, there are a total of eight to put together.  I may just work on them while watching DVD's and stitch them together by hand, instead of the machine.  Anyway, here's the first nine patch block.

Lots of very unusual color combinations in this quilt.  The overall effect, however, is quite gorgeous!

Coop

#7 Coop for my All Cooped Up quilt.  I have been cutting and measuring...and cutting and measuring for all the coops, nine-patch blocks and borders for it.  I still have about 12 fabrics to cut.....Whew!  But when I had enough to finish one little coop last night, I decided to go ahead and stitch it together by hand.

I also worked on a lot of little circle flower pieces yesterday for Block #4 of Le Jardin.

Leaves

Leaves, leaves and more leaves.  Twenty-five, to be exact!  Nine stars and one flower pot!  All twenty-five leaves are done on Block #3 for Le Jardin by Bunny Hill Designs.  Whew! 

I love the flower pot!  (Maybe 'cause there was only one! LOL!)

Borders

I finished the last rooster block yesterday afternoon.  Then spent a little time cutting the borders for the central part of the quilt.  It's actually starting to look like something now! :))

Next are the little "houses" or coops as they are called in the pattern....

Oh, and look!   The guys have eyes!
