Letter U

is for Uma!  She's done with all her pretty little sparklies and purple flowers.  Five more letters to go....

About face..

with a little bit of cross stitch again.  Letters from Nora, U, the little fairy herself and a portion of the "U."  And ....the wings are already done (I seem to always leave those for last, which tends to make it a lot slower for me to finish the piece)   I am still working on my quilting projects, too...just took a little break from them all yesterday to work on this little girl. :)

Here's my finished Letter T from Nora Corbett.  Another sparkly one!  It's hard for me to believe that I have actually stitched every letter up until the T!

Ta Da!!  My little Samantha is finished!  .....and....only SEVEN more letters to go!  :))

Rhiannon

Rhiannon - the little "R" fairy in my alphabet.   Just a very small start for now.  I started at the very top center of the letter "R."

After completing Quin, I have NINE letter fairies left to stitch!  (I see you counting out there!):)

NINA

All done!  All her sparklies have been added....she was one of the quickest letters that I have stitched, so far.

"Nina"

Nora Corbett's Letter "N" Fairy - Nina. Yep....started another letter fairy, finally. Nina is the fourteenth one! She is one of my favorites - her dress is purple and I love the gold beads that go down the leg of the letter "N". Here she is, with the fairy done (except for her beads) and the first half of the letter N stitched:

The Letter M

M is for "Merry" Christmas? M is for "Michele?" M is for "many" projects? or M is for "May" you have a Happy New Year? ;) No, no, no....(but it does make me think of the Cookie Monster's (Sesame Street) "C is for Cookie" song....)

It could be that M is for "my" new/old project.....the Letter M fairy from Nora Corbett. She is the halfway point through the alphabet, plus she is at the"midway" point. ;)

You know how it is with the New Year approaching...looking back, setting new goals, etc. I was trying to see what projects I had that I might be able to get done this year. Of course, I would like to be able to finish all the letters, but half way's not too bad.

BTW - this is another set of designs that I had originally thought of using in a quilt....the one for which I already purchased some of the fabrics....;)

Dragging, crawling...

I need one of those tired, exhausted little smileys here....this is for Kelly (Letter K Fairy from Nora Corbett Designs). For whatever reason, I have been working on her and working on her and wor.....well...you get the picture. I knew when I skipped her to stitch the Letter L it was a mistake.....but enough moaning and groaning....it is now time to D A N C E!! Yep! She's done! She's done! She's done!

Finally! All the beading is done on Jordan. She is so sparkly!

I have worked on this little fairy, J for Jordan, just little bits of time here and there, when I would put my larger projects down. She offered just the right amount of diversion. All she needs now is her sparkle! Onto the beading.....

Skipping around

A little change...

you know, I have SADD (Stitchers Attention Deficit Disorder)....
Yep...that's what it is. It's why I keep skipping around working on a bazillion WIP's. Most of the time I cannot seem to settle on just one.

Anyway, I needed a little break from The Sleigh, and picked up Ivy again (Letters from Nora). Especially since three new letters are out, J, K and L. She is about two-thirds done right now. Don't worry ~ I'll be working on my sleigh again a bit later today...



Almost forgot..I did work on Harem Garden for a while, but the frogs paid my garden a little visit.

Nora's Alphabet and Ivy

I finished all the letters last night for Nora's Alphabet. I still have to attach a few beads around the letter "c". After that I made a small start on the feather....

Ivy and Nora's Alphabet

I had started working on Ivy (Letters from Nora) before I was not feeling so well this past week. Here's how far I had gotten on her:

This is a design by Nora Corbett for Golden Heart Originals called Nora's Alphabet. The letters are pretty free form with the star on the left and a swirl on the right side. There will be a pansy, a feather and a pear on the bottom center. You can see the very beginning of the top of the pansy.

Heather and a Little Church

I worked on the next part for the Chatelaine Advent piece. A cute little church. Those blue areas to the left are the start of today's portion. Look like they might eventually be some bigger trees.

I started one of the Alphabet Letter Fairies the other night....Heather...(I finished her wings first this time!):
