Nine
But what does "Nine" have to do with this?
After completing Quin, I have NINE letter fairies left to stitch! (I see you counting out there!):)

The Letter M
M is for "Merry" Christmas? M is for "Michele?" M is for "many" projects? or M is for "May" you have a Happy New Year? ;) No, no, no....(but it does make me think of the Cookie Monster's (Sesame Street) "C is for Cookie" song....)
It could be that M is for "my" new/old project.....the Letter M fairy from Nora Corbett. She is the halfway point through the alphabet, plus she is at the"midway" point. ;)
Take a peek:
You know how it is with the New Year approaching...looking back, setting new goals, etc. I was trying to see what projects I had that I might be able to get done this year. Of course, I would like to be able to finish all the letters, but half way's not too bad.
BTW - this is another set of designs that I had originally thought of using in a quilt....the one for which I already purchased some of the fabrics....;)

Told ya
...another finish. Did you ever come across one of your projects when you were looking for something else in your stash? This is one of those. I took it out from hiding again the other day and kept thinking...there is not much more to be done on this one to finally have it finished.
This one has been a l o o o n g time in the making. It is the Trick or Treat Fairy by Nora Corbett. My friend, Isabelle, had hand-painted the fabric for me last year specifically for this design. (Thank your, Isabelle!)Take a peek:
I had finished the majority of the stitching on this one last year. It was all those beads! The fabric became about a 36 count after the hand-painting, so attaching the beads was very slow.
Now she is done! Happy Dance Time (again!)
(There are those crazy giraffes, Anne Marieke!)

Kelly WIP

Now you can tell that this is the letter "K" fairy from Nora Corbett....no fairy yet, but the letter is there!
And...take a look at this absolutely gorgeous fabric I purchased. It is McKenna Ryan's fabric. I bought it with the intention of possibly using it for the quilt I (eventually) intend to make out of all my letter fairies. This fabric has variations from light to dark. For now, I just folded it around the WIP to get an idea of how it might work with the quilt. What do you think? Me, I like it, I like it! :))

Well, lookee here...
Since I was working with all the same colors anyway, I decided to give my Sleigh a little bit of attention yesterday. ![]()
It's coming along nicely. I realized that all I have been stitching for the last couple of days is ribbons! Ribbons, ribbons and more ribbons! They are pretty, once finished, just a lot of color changes. :))

Ten minutes here...ten minutes there...
and look what you get:![]()
I have worked on this little fairy, J for Jordan, just little bits of time here and there, when I would put my larger projects down. She offered just the right amount of diversion. All she needs now is her sparkle! Onto the beading.....

Tickle me with a feather
It's done - the feather from Nora's Alphabet, that is! Very pretty colors and striking in person. I am just not exactly sure it looks like a feather....more like a very fancy leaf. Anyway, I do like how the colors work together. There is also the start of the pear. I do like these little "pieces" of different things Nora has given in this design...flower, fauna and fruit.... very different from any of her other designs![]()
