.....it all began with one thread....

I am weak....so weak...

yes....I know....how many more can she have, you say? WIP's, that is.....

I have been wanting to work on a sampler by Brenda Keyes (The Sampler Company) for a long time. Well, yesterday I got a little push....yep...started another one. The Plymouth Sampler:

WIP 50609

I pulled the threads for it (changing most of the DMC colors to NPI's) and I had a piece of 32 count Lakeside Linen in Maritime White that was just the perfect size. I decided to only use one thread of NPI to give it a more delicate look.

Not too much to show yet...but I wanted to work from the top center down to give myself some areas to work outward. You can see the year 1620 in Roman numerals. :) I'll finish crossing those stitches in the border once I get a little more of the alphabet done.

Plus - a little quilting update:

Not the best picture or angle, but I was trying to hurry before the batteries died on my camera.

Thanks for coming by! :O)

Beautiful!!! Quilt and sampler!!!
Who pushed you btw. Who was that mean to you??? (grin) You should have someone handy to blame for anything. I'll take cat or dog for that. They need to come handy in for something don't they?
